Frisoli Youth Center Visit

John, Bruce, Rolando and I trekked down to Cambridge this afternoon for a tour of the Frisoli Youth Center. I think everyone came away impressed with the thoughtfulness of this community youth center design by Cambridge Seven Associates. It's been 8 years since Frisoli opened (and 8 years since I was last there) and the place is still as impressive as when I attended the opening festivities. C7A did an impressive job of fitting this building into a tight-knit residential community. They also successfully disguised a two-story building and gymnasium as a one story building with remarkable results. I am posting about a dozen pictures that I took and John plans to post some of his impressions and photos as well, so stay tuned everybody.

5: Take the RT-38 S exit- EXIT 30- toward RTE 28 / SOMERVILLE. 0.1 miles

6: Turn LEFT onto MYSTIC AVE / MA-38 S. 0.7 miles

7: Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto MCGRATH HWY / MA-28 S. 1.0 miles

8: Take the SOMERVILLE AVE. ramp. 0.1 miles

9: Stay STRAIGHT to go onto MEDFORD ST. 0.2 miles

10: Turn RIGHT onto SOUTH ST. 0.1 miles

11: Turn LEFT onto WILLOW ST. 0.2 miles
